FAQs
What does HONOR do?
HONOR is a private not-for-profit organization operating 24 integrated licensed programs in partnership with County, State, and Federal programs. Our deep-rooted community presence involves collaborations with over 60 health, mental health, substance abuse, legal, and homeless service providers, all fueled by our commitment to our clients’ well-being. Through our 24-hour call center, we open doors to a coordinated care system, prioritizing immediate stabilization, safety, and specialized support for the homeless, all delivered with the compassion, respect, and dignity that each and every HONOR staff member believes in.
What is A Friend’s House?
A Friend’s House is more than just a shelter; it’s a haven for Hudson Valley’s runaway and homeless youth aged 17 and under. Our top priority at HONOR is to ensure that these young individuals feel safe, cared for, and supported from the moment they arrive.
